for almost a month now hubby cat jay and i have been through sleepness nights, taking turns feeding our cute little carmen. well yesterday, she was awake for a long time cooing at her toys! and last tuesday, she genuinely smiles in her sleep... our long nights are now paying off... and i want more, please! see for yourself, aren't these to die for?

hey mia, what a really pretty baby carmen ines is! i know what you mean- you know when my own laya first came into this world, i would spend sleepless nights watching over her with ex and i taking turns changing her diapers etc, but you know, that was one particular instance of my life when i REALLY knew what love meant. i went through all that hardship finding myself unable to complain. one look at baby (then) laya and all the pagod was erased. and i knew that i would - and could - go through more difficulty because i knew, REALLY REALLY knew, what it was to selflessly love your own flesh and blood. wonderful feeling! and the knowing what real love means, how it is to really love another without any thought of one's own self is one of the most significant gifts of knowledge ever given to me.
