my fat tuesday

how cool is it if your day starts with a call from a super good friend telling you she's in town and can drop by, stay for dinner and drinks, talk and chismis about nothing until sawa.....super cool no?! —that friend is lavina. a very very close friend to us and now also happens to be one of the few woman pilots of PAL..she' here on what she calls her dead heading flight (pilot talk) before she flies back home to manila.

ha! then a few minutes later, my cell phone rings and it's manong (my older bro)! we talked and blabbered about nothing really. yet that's the thing, it's the nothing that makes you happy. just glad to hear a familiar voice and chat about useless topics about...nothing!

then as soon as i get in from an errand mid day, another familiar voice says hello! my business partner cum good friend, allen, just calls to chit chat and check how i'm doing, then a bit about our work & biz... and chat about nothing again....oohhh im really loving this nothing so far!

and, as my ibook boots, the YM window pops-up and a hello message from my sister- in -law greets me! followed by my sister, bic- bic... also on line too! a few seconds later, manong pops up, as well as maripi, my cousin!... wow... this really rarely happens and was in a "high" as soon as they started chatting about the nothings again :-)

i wonder, when will a much a do about "nothing" day, the one just like this, will happen once more?.... hopefully sooner than i think.
