bic-bic's v(wu)sit IV: last night: drinks (&dinner)

bic-bic's last night was a blast! we had drinks (and a fantastic dinner) with old and close friends of hers- erich and miko at cafe' beaujoulais, a quiant wine bar & cafe at ann siang hill (near club st.in chinatown). it's definitely different from the usual drinking places i've been to here in singapore. this had a homey feeling to it and it's perfect for a lazy quiet afternoon over wine and cheese (hmmm a thought jay and i would like to do after i pop!).

jay and i were kept amused over their tales of the abgs days, townhouse adventures and circle of friends they left behind.

while chats kept on coming, wine after wine came pouring over the cheese platter we shared... and despite my state, erich kept on insisting one more glass would not hurt ;-) ha! little did he know i had pre-mature contractions yesterday!....

we knew that the night must end when miko was declared "gonners" by his partner of 20yrs!!...true enough... because shortly after, he fell off his chair 2x while slurring his way through his kwentos.

what miko and erich didn't know, is that we had a "gonner" with us as well. in the cab on the way home, bicky (as our dad calls her) was swaying all the way to 34-09, plopped on the bed we prepared for her, without the strength to change to her jammies.

the morning after was just as bad as she struggled through breakfast. but again, she willed herself to change and managed to head off
to ikea (of course, kasama ako!)

back to reality...for us and her..she left for the airport after 2pm to catch her 5:15pm flight back to manila. (hahahhaha, but had to come back because she left her wallet, office i.d and pocket diary).

she later texted that night that she felt sick on the plane and had the worst hangover ever yet on a flight.....
