when carmen turned 4months, i decided to go back to work. so, jay and i agreed to process our yaya application, get a yaya from manila. which we did and brought her back with us from vacation last july. however yesterday, 3 short months later-- she had to fly back home (medical reasons) bu-hu-hu :-( so now, i am yaya-less again. the funny thing is, i'm not panicking as i thought i would. plus, now that carmen can: crawl, stand up, can say ma-ma--da-da , do bubbles and shout her lung out; i'm actually enjoying my yaya-less state...till when? i really don't know. but watching her makes me smile and realize...seriously, i'm a mommy again.

as i type this, carmen is asleep, like a log, beside me (jay's on travel until monday). and i'm loving that she makes sik-sik , tosses and turns in the middle of the night, like a real human being already. as i see her do this, i can hear my dad or my mom say: "ay hu....daw ta-wo nagid sya ya!"(translation in tagalog: aba, parang tutuong tao na sya!; in english: she's like a real person!) hahahahahahahaha.
hmmmmm , let's see— the yaya-replacement application is currently on-going (yes folks, here, application for a second help is needed--and must pass through the government, with complete paper work and all). till then, i'll enjoy my tata menca to the max....
