happy birthday dad!

like manong, i was perennially tagged and teased as your “favorite” or “daddy’s girl” and i would get so defensive and upset. true or not, now that I’m 40 and recount what you’ve showered me; material things and non-material alike; i think i don’t mind being called the favorite anymore☺ thanks so much for all those gifts dad, from the biggest and expensive stuff like my two lovely horses, bluebar and lady (may they rest in peace), and everything that came with it (saddle&tack, local clinics from those riding masters, trainings in australia etc) that supported my so called riding career—which never really took off. hahahhaha.; and all our family trips local and abroad (with matching ba-on pa!); to the littlest of things like those libre of magazines, books or CD, our family fine dining eat outs, and those ciggies you'd give me or i'd make dekwat from your ref, hahahahah ....plus others!

hmmm...all my lunch treats to you in teriyaki boy or other cheap places and my driving you around makati and airport the past few years before you got sick won’t ever come close but I hope you somehow enjoyed them…..i know i did
