august rush

this month has just been one crazy month. i've been too busy to blog, but not too busy for everything else; which is a good thing i guess because i got to spend my time doing things i like; well, most of it anyways.....


polar me mine

practically this whole month, i have been training for this 10k run i signed up in since early last month. by showing my seriousness, i invested in a new pair of running shoes (after having the old one for almost 4yrs--blah! ha ha ha) and my own POLAR heart rate monitor with speed and distance; my very own RS200SD. it's been good to me. i am so sold on it and so glad i bought it. it has changed my whole concept of running and training; just this morning , i did what i had to to do: finish the 10K. oh, but the run is not till next sunday the 24th, mind you. i just wanted to see if i can, and i did. forget my time..... though not that bad, the fact that i finished my 10k run, is: happiness to me:-)

i attended my very first food photography class. it was a lot of fun! actually that was last month, but because of that class, i then again invested in the lens of my dream: my very own canon 24-70mm 2.8. oo, excuse lang yon para i can buy one...ha ha ha....

kl for a day
had to fly in and bus out last friday the 15th. it was work. had to meet the organizer for the kl art expo we are joining in november. despite the tight schedule and meets, i just requested that, even for a short while, i shoot the petronas tower. so we did. we parked the car for 2 min and was able to shoot it at the most awkward angle.... but it was magnificent!



back to school for pao
preparing school stuff , like uniforms and a new school bag was our agenda the week before the 13th- his first day of school. last night i attended his back to school night and met all his teachers. so, instead of playing hockey, i was at s.a.s till 9pm. i really don't mind. pao is such a good student and kid, so i am sure, like last year, he will again be in the honors list....(so not like his mom! hahahahhaha)
