sistah sistah in singapore 30th november - 6th december 07

amidst my busy schedule two weeks ago (it was my tri-nation tournament and 2nd yr anniversary) my sistah arrived with joey and her unico hijo - sancho, who celebrated his 7th birthday with us. the celebration was private and simple; spaghetti and cake were served, but he was most excited when he opened his numerous gifts!

sistah and i had a blast shopping! imagine it was my first time to see mustafa!!! and it was good exploring little india with her and joey on foot. we were able to sneak in an indian temple too. sayang though, i was not able to go with them to china town, sentosa and the singapore zoo... but i knew they managed well.

of course, our best shopping yet was in ikea!

on their last night, jay and i treated sista and joey at our fave tourist crab place - no signboard at the esplanade; ordering the usual chili crab w/ bun, cereal prawns, baby squid, garlic kang kong and of course, yang chow fried rice :-)

we had one week of fun, "gina-mual" (chaos) at our tiny queens condo unit. the most remarkable thing was that tata menca grew fond of joey and sancho. she would laugh and shriek every time joey and sanch would play with her. and she awaited for them to wake up every morning.. and start smiling as soon as she sees joey! hahahahahahaha.

we hope you can visit us again soon sistah dear! you're always welcome to stay with me. your turn to host us on 21st december, ok??
