i heart slumber ☺

they say as you get older your sleep gets shorter? well, i've reached the big 4-0 but i don't think it's happening just yet or anytime soon. on the contrary, i think my sleep is getting longer! all the more because i was deprived of slumber the past months, especially the first few weeks when carmen was born:-( hubby jay usually teases me that my average sleep per night is 12 hrs... over naman his statement!, but i guess it's close to that. i think i can and do, especially before carmen was born, an average of about 9 to 10 hrs. (can you imagine when i was preggy, gosh..i could sleep practically the whole day!) because for me, there's nothing like a good night's sleep!

erm...i also think this is the only thing carmen got from me :-) as early as now, she really loves sleeping, i can tell. how? because more often than not, she just wants to lie down and not be held and just falls asleep. these past week, after her 7:30ish de-de, and while dada j is changing for work, i bring her to our room and let her lie down beside me, then we both fall asleep until about past 10am na! sarap! hahahahha, her 9am bath schedule has not been followed since hahahaha. batugan kasi.
