of friends old and new

i've always had lots of friends. back home, i have several groups i hang out with— hockey, badminton, diving, drinking, highschool, college, cousins—some more than others, but they are all important to me& to who i am. so when i arrived singapore, i was so glad one good friend (sis milet from my hockey) was here, and introduced me to her group...which we (jay and i) hang out with most often in the beginning. then i met an old classmate from highschool (aleli), and an old acquiantance (aura) from my sister's college. they are who i hang out with for lunch and shopping...since they are "housewives" like me. as months passed, these old friends introduced me to new friends, and the rest is history. I now have a badminton group play with, a drinking group, lunch and shopping, etc. yet singapore is so small that friends here intertwine with one another. but i'm glad for friends and i'm glad i've got some here.
