Bangkok : Our new home to be....

we just came home from a 6-day intensive bangkok home and school hunting. the process was grueling, confusing at times but very fulfilling. at last we found a good school for paolo and nice home for us. not to the perfect specifications i wanted, but that's the whole point; i will then make it perfect!

after much thought and thinking, it's a project i will focus on. and this time, i told jay (hear me out hub) that please please, let me do this. let me find the right pieces for for our home. it will be a project that will take months or even years but i want each piece to be well thought of.

i am throwing away the : ok na yan attitude just because the furniture is cheap or affordable. we did that before for our singapore queens home, and guess what. true to the value, those pieces have been thrown away. and it happened all over again, this time to a lower scale when we bought dining chairs at an OK price.. now they are dilapidating right in front of us..... :-(

reading home magazines for the past months and accompanying a good friend (aldo) to his new adventure move out plan, taught me a lot. not only what to buy but how to buy... and so that is what i will do. my artsy home will become me, and not just any home store look alike--which is i think what we have here in queens:-(
