travel log asia --first stop: taiwan (art taipei 2009)

is it november already? time really flies when you are busy; and having fun....
from august till october, i have been in 3 asian countries non-stop, both for work and play. no complaints! travel has always been something i look forward to (not the plane rides though, i sincerely hate flying!).

first stop--august: taiwan for art taipei 2009. it was my first time in taiwan. obviously, we were mostly at the fair, yet the chance we get to explore the city, we do. and my first impression is— it's a big escolta!! yet the people, i love! taiwanese are really friendly asian. their warmth is just oozing thru their bones :-)

the art fair itself was awesome too! nothing beats this fair so far! the organizers have really done their homework by making sure the crowd was just overflowing. though we didn't get to sell much, at least our art was seen by their people. that enough makes us feel good too.

in that fair, us, the exhibitors were made to feel that joining their fair was much appreciated. a dinner was hosted in our behalf, a 6 course dinner of superb taiwanese food at the top of the prestigious restaurant in the 101 building called: shin yeh 101. we met with other exhibitors from all over asia. we were fed with good food and mixed with good company. it was the best.

the GJ team had a blast when it came to food too! food in taipei is relatively reasonable that we pigged out. when the day ended, and had too much about art, we looked forward to our food. even a meal in the food court was a winner:-) hahahahha.. of course we had to try beef noodle at a hole-in-a-wall area, which looked to me like we were in santolan:-)

in taipei, i was with friends and made friends, with the people who love art, who appreciate art. here are pics of my art taipei experience.....

i'm really glad i pushed for this fair, and i guess what? we signed up again for next year!!!
