tita, i will miss your phone calls!!! why did you decide to go so suddenly? we just spoke last month and you were in good spirits pa? plus we just ordered one whole year of you meds from india, di ba? ahay ah..... ka sabad sa imo! :-(

tita, though i bid farewell, you will never ever be forgotten. the only consolation now is that you are in a happier place. in a place where your "barkada" is; and so sure that you are now catching up on lost times....

bye tita. i will surely miss you spur of the moment calls, the voice mails you leave me when you can't get hold of me. our marathon "lamon" when i go home, and our tele-novela nights, and non-stop kwentos of everything and anything about life.. yours or mine:-)

thank you tita for making me "kupkop" when i need to stay in that side of town.

darn, i will really really miss you!!!! abot ah!

hay naku menggie,
i cried many tears (vs i cried a tear) in your tribute to our ever dearest tita melds. my ninang and true to the word "ninang" - always never misses a beat to cheer you up with her ever so upbeat voice/spirit. thanks for sharing the pic - it's so hard to explain to maia where lola melds is now. the "olds" sat at the dining area (sila tita bingbong, tita carminia and the other cubao titas, also tita pilaring) and when i had maia do the rounds to kiss everyone, he hugged tita bingbong so tight i think she thought she kinda resembled lola melds. then at the end, she goes "where's lola melds?". hay daw gin-kumos ang akon heart.

mi, i miss you so!! but God is good, He knows exactly what we are going through (Maia and I - and Jim to say the least)....so I'm trusting Him and not letting go. Kiss Jay and Pao and Tata men for us.

Love you,
Mamabu
