i almost erased Christmas.....

it was a quiet Christmas for just us three— jay, menca and i. too quiet and contained that i almost deleted the memories of the handful of activities we did (which just involved shopping, zoo, and the park. ha!) can you imagine??!!!

i was shutter frenzy that season, with the new camera upgrade (since i could not afford the 5dmarkII, i treated myself to a 50D instead...pwede na. in fact i love it). i was shooting and saving images in my apple, that i accidentally overwrote a whole folder that had all the new images! but with patience, hard work and a lot of calls to manila (nomer, my tech master who saved me), i was able to retrieve them all. mind you, it took me three whole days! nevertheless, it was all worth it.....

here are the memories i almost wiped out....

first up: our christmas eve with good friends, kiko and suzi. it was
relaxing and comfortable being with them. we had fun making lamon the pinoy spread jo prepared, plus of course, the alcohol suzi& kiko brought :-) oops, jay has no pic pala...



second up: christmas day. the princess of the house was suited up in her santa dress, and opened all her gifts. hmmm mga 5 gifts lang total :-) ok lang, she was happy!


third up : our christmas day at the park. while her two nanas (rita and jo) were off, we took mango and menca to the alexandra park connector. this is were jay and i alway take our morning run. both carmen and mango loved it so much....





last but not the least: adventure at the zoo. with all the barney that she watched, jay and i felt that carmen was ready to see the animals. it was tiring and hot, but she enjoyed every animal she saw.... we had fun with menca that afternoon.
