september more!

it was sort of like christmas for me, in september...... hectic!

major events were two things:
1. early on the month, my fave sis (hahahahha, she is my only sister), flew in for work. she stayed with me, and got to attend one of my gallery event, who at the end of the night, still stole the limelight. well, that's usual for her. hahahahha, she won't be a ma. victoria delfina, for nothing...

we had a good time at brunch too; a despedida brunch for suzi woozi (who is now back again in singapore with a new job!).

2. the week after, jay, menca and i travelled to manila. it mainly for a trip to bohol, for nathan's wedding (jay's good friend). in bohol, bonding kami ni jay. aside from seeing old friends and being by the beach, which we truly love! it was our time together... beer in hand, facing the ocean.... what a life..

but of course, we can't go home and not visit my dad, so a side trip to bacolod for me and menca was included. the supposedly one week vacation turned out to be a super hectic one, as we squeezed in to see family and friends. yet, no regrets!! menca had a blast. plus, it was the best: seeing my dad and menca together....

and the other set of grandparents were just as elated! while we were in bohol, we left menca, with the care of ninang trish. and a full weekend with lolo and lola.... they raved and praised my little carmen.. she is so articulate and well behaved. of course! she is my child:-) and an entertainer, at that! see this pic? this she got from her tita bicbic:-)

it was this month that i also gained the extra weight you see in me today!! why? because the running was put on hold, for mediocre reasons i came up with..hahahahha.

as i ate my way and ran less, i tried to hone my photography skills. i am got so into photoshop too.. and flickr was my best site during these times......

arghhh and not to mention, shopping. this was the month i almost spent my bank account, not that i had so much...but all the more. i think this month, i unleashed the material girl side, as i was once ...hahahahhaha..
