remembering canlubang...
to me, canlubang always refers to our house. it (the big house , as known within the village) was "the party-place" to both family and friends back in the 80s. but when my mom got sick, our get-togethers died down just as fast. so, when jay proposed marriage to me last march 05, the perfect place i thought of , for both the ceremony and celebration was none other than: canlubang. remembering all our parties then (when my dad would order no less than 18 cases of san miguel beer, preparing to host to just our cousins---i am not kidding!) really inspired me to get this wedding done there. despite the rain that kinda ruined the grand set-up, the party was still a hit as ever. i'm sooo (jay too) happy we did hold it there.

it's soooo eeerie cuz i just finished doing a blog about home sweet home galo. and as soon as i checked your blog, there it was, your blog on canlubang!!! ooooohhhhh. i think when one is away from home - and a bit "older" - one gets to be a bit more nostalgic.
great post...but hey, i don't think the pics came out of the wedding preparation....
will check again.....baka you're just about doing it when i checked.

hey itsy.... naku.. not tita tessie's house. it's our house. her house is soo huge naman. ours is called the big house bec its relatively big. Big compared to their's -- garage lang ang balay namun ya-- hahahahaha... (but still i miss that house)
im sure you know how big their house is. well, see the pics-- i fixed it na. hope u can see them na:-)

Ayan! I can see them na. =) Yes, please on the cousin pics. As usual, ididisplay sa malapit ng mapunong sala ni Panet! Haha! She keeps on bugging us pa naman na me and Jay na lang ang walang wedding pics sa sala niya. Haha! =)
