carmen's thrilla in manila

manila manila. good ol' manila. it's carmen's homecoming and immediately when we entered NAIA1, we were greeted by the long line at the immigration counter, the chaotic baggage claim carousel and the smell of sweat at the car pick-up point... arrgghhh. it was a relief to all of us when daddy j arrived, while my two other kutos, manang la and manong pao, were off to blue ridge with their dad as well. we headed straight to tita trish's house (j's sis) where we will be staying for 5 nights before heading off to bacolod for another 9 days.

as expected lolo and lola with cousin gab, were there to greet and stay with carmen. tita trish and tito vic arrived later that night to have dinner with us.

it was a long day for us, especially for ta ta men, but we settled in fine. by the next day, we ready to face our one-month-a-half vacation ahead!!!
